It’s time to put away your flip-flops and swim wear, and bring out your boots and sweaters, because the fall season has arrived!

Fall is a time filled with an endless amount of things to do alone or with a group of friends. From carving pumpkins, watching a local football game, or even grabbing a cup of pumpkin spice latte, here are a few things you must-do this upcoming fall season.

As a person who loves this time of year, I like to make the most out of this time of year by doing fall traditions alone and with a group of my friends. One of my favorite things to do to start fall off with a bang, is to decorate my home with all that is pumpkin.

If you are with a group of friends and are looking for something spooky to do, then head to your nearest haunted house. Although I get scared quite easily, I enjoy going to haunted houses because it gets me into the Halloween spirit.

On the nights when the weather is cooler, and you are looking for something to do outside, find the best location to have a bonfire. Sitting by the fire with family or a group of your close friends is a great way to enjoy the fall weather. Bring your most comfortable blanket, some marshmallows to make s’mores, and hot chocolate for you and your friends to sip on as you kick-back by the fire.

In addition, one of the greatest must-do’s to try every fall season is to binge watch an endless amount of Halloween movies. ABC, which is now known as Freeform, has an official 31 nights of Halloween movie schedule that you can follow all month long to find out when your favorite Halloween-scares are to be aired.

Beginning October 1st, Freeform will air every night Halloween favorites, such as Disney’s Hocus Pocus, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, as well as The Addams Family. Every year I look forward to Freeform’s 31 nights of Halloween movies because they broadcast a variety of movies to get you into the Halloween and fall spirit.

Although fall can be a busy time with adjusting to the new school year, there are many ways that you can make the fall season less stressful and more enjoyable by following these must-do’s that can help spice up this fall season!
