My responsibilities as a Social Media Intern were to manage First United Methodist Church's social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Therefore, I am responsible for keeping members of the church and Nacogdoches community informed on what's going on within the church. In order to achieve the objectives as a Social Media Intern, I stay organized by distributing content in regards to events, activities, services, etc. by using scheduling tools. Scheduling social media content that I want to publicize is a beneficial way to not only stay organized, but also to stay ahead of schedule. Moreover, I am also responsible for creating graphics and images to be used on the church's website, as well as the distribution of website content.
SFA-TV 2

Apart of my involvement with Stephen F. Austin State University's television station, SFA-TV 2, I am responsible for applying my knowledge of the broadcast industry required for the development of news content and packages. Every week, my production team and I are responsible for the production of a SFA-TV's Jack Talk. Moreover, because Jack Talk's format includes three segments within a 25-minute production, we are obligated to generate ideas, contact desired guests, and develop a SFA/Nacogdoches community-focused production. Along with strong communication skills, I have gained experience in reporting and anchoring news-worthy material, as well as filming/editing news packages.
KSAU 90.1 - Radio Operator

As a Radio Operator for Stephen F. Austin State University's radio station, KSAU 90.1, I am responsible for generating two four-hour radio shifts weekly. During my radio shifts, my responsibilities include the performance of basic audio operations in the distribution of local, national, and entertainment news, as well as weather. Moreover, it is my responsibility to ensure that commercials, interviews, and news-releases are delivered on time. Apart of my experience with KSAU 90.1, I've performed live-remote broadcasts at SFA's baseball games, created numerous radio promos and sweepers, as well as taking caller's song requests.
Content Writer

The Odyssey Online is a social media platform based at colleges nation-wide. My responsibilities as a Content Writer were to conduct weekly articles aimed at various audiences, as well as maintain a diverse portfolio of written work. I was also responsible for peer-reviewing and editing other writers' content before the articles were published online. One of my main obligations as a Content Writer, was to develop articles that resonate and inspire my audience to make a difference, as well as distribute content that was relatable.
